I went there two times during March 2024 for dinner. Alone with no other guests, I felt very welcome. the enjoyment of all the choices of foods including salads, soups, chicken, lots of veggies, and my favorite..."All-You-Can-Eat-Deserts"!!! The waiter was excellent! This restaurant is one I would take a chance on...because after 20-years of not returning due to dieting, I felt it was time to eat! And so I did. Please try this place with your family, friends, co-workers, and anyone that's hungry...'cause you'll all be full when you leave. Get to the Steak Counter to order your steak first, then gather your other foods...shrimp, chicken, potatoes, rice, veggies, Coca-Cola, then come back a few minutes later to get that steak the way you want it! Get your salad, soup, and a hot beverage like tea or coffee to melt it all down...extra yumminess! Remember if you're happy, as I always say, then hand the waiter/server a token of appreciation from your heart. Even on a fixed income, I always show thanks & gratitude when deserved. The biggest thing here is...I'm big, loving food but while watching my weight...go down, once in a while I feel I can take a moment out of my day to enjoy a good restaurant...this is my first choice. JJ North's is an amazing restaurant. I have many happy memories here. MANY! It's a shame JJ North's isn't in Boise Idaho anymore.
